Jan 23, 2016 Comments Off on 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi phil I saw the movie "13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi" last night, which chronicles the events of September 11, 2012 in Benghazi where our American Diplomatic compound was overrun by Radical Islamic Terrorists. These attacks resulted in the destruction of our Diplomatic Compound and the deaths of American Ambassador Chris Stevens and the Foreign Service Information Management Officer Sean Smith. Later at another CIA Compound, two other brave American souls were killed in a continuation of the events of the day, CIA Contractors Tyrone Woods and Glen Doherty.
As I watched this movie, I couldn't help wondering about all the atrocious things that I witnessed in that movie, mainly related to the leadership from the White House, The State Department, The CIA and the other agencies involved. I believe we have a leadership void in our government these days that set these individuals in this compound up to fail. This leadership failure cost the lives of 4 American Precious Souls. We are in dire need of competent leaders in our government in this age. We are seriously lacking that necessary component of our National Defense Structure. No one wants to make decisions that may cost them politically. Our leaders today are more worried about their political careers than they are protecting the American People from the various threats to our National Security and our American Way of Life. I really can't believe that Hillary Clinton hasn't been held more accountable for this incident. It happened on her watch and she was responsible, as the Secretary of State, for the security of her people. I hope the truth comes out as to her role in these events and that the American People will determine that she isn't fit to be a leader in our nation, in any capacity, anymore.
As the Primary elections approach, I urge you to learn all you can about each candidate and only support leaders that take responsibility for their actions and that are accountable to the American People for the way they lead and govern. Hint: I don't believe Hillary measures up in this category.
